Purebred Dorset
The Dorset is one of the oldest English breeds of sheep. They can have horns or be polled (without
horns). All of our Dorsets are polled.
The Dorset is a large framed sheep used mainly for meat production. The ewes are capable of
aseasonly breeding under the right conditions which can greatly increase your pounds of lamb sold
per ewe. The ewes are easy lambers and excellent mothers. Another advantage to having Dorsets in
your flock is their longevity, with ewes capable of breeding into their teens.
East Friesian
East Friesian ewes are very prolific. They are capable of breeding in any season and lamb crops of
over 200% are common. They are extremely good milkers and are sometimes referred to as the
"Holstein or the sheep world".
Dorper Cross
We have Dorper cross ewes, ewe lambs, whethers and rams. The cross is a great option for
someone looking for an economical way to start a flock or increase an existing flock.
